Academic Activities

Children with cancer do best when the doctors and nurses around them keep learning together. EkatraSetu, tumour boards, CPD programmes, workshops, seminars, short courses and conferences bring that learning to every district.

What we run

Seven ways we help the people who treat children with cancer keep learning, wherever they work.

EkatraSetu

Doctors in smaller towns discuss difficult cases with a panel of experienced specialists, and get help with diagnosis, treatment plans and follow-up.

About EkatraSetu

Tumour Board

A regular multidisciplinary meeting where oncologists, surgeons, radiologists and pathologists agree the best plan for each child together.

CPD programmes

Accredited continuing professional development for paediatricians, nurses and medical officers, with credit hours for every session.

Workshops

Hands-on sessions on skills that change outcomes: early diagnosis, safe chemotherapy, vascular access, pain and palliative care.

Seminars
